When the body of a young woman is found in a Stockholm hotel room, Martin and Gunvald investigate under the supervision of their new boss Klas Freden.

2. The Family

When a well-known crime boss is murdered by a sniper in front of his family, Beck and his team are challenged to discover which one of his many enemies could be responsible for the crime.

3. The Invasion

The bodies of two men are found buried in the woods and, despite persistent attempts, they cannot be identified. When another man is murdered the police discover new evidence which they believe links the murders to an Islamist terrorist cell.

An elderly woman dies in a hospital in Stockholm from what seems to be an incurable disease, but her son refuses to believe that it was the disease that killed her.

An investigative journalist is found murdered in his home, along with the fingerprints of a notorious criminal debt collector.

6. Steinar

When a body is found in a trailer after a fire, police supervisor Klas Freden goes over Beck's head and recruits a Norwegian homicide investigator.

7. End of the Road

An ex-policeman is found murdered in his house, along with his wife and child. The case stirs strong feelings at police HQ and takes highest priority.

8. The Last Day Finale

When traffic officers on a quiet morning shift try to stop a car for speeding they are shot at and one of them is killed. Beck and his team lead an extensive search for the ruthless killer.
