Thanks to the bingo bonus prepared by Shigeyuki Totsugi, Yugo Kochi, Rinne Sugeta, and Takeyuki Mayumi enjoy an incredible venison barbecue. However, because this is a day trip, they have only about two hours remaining at this point. With so little time left, completing the bingo looks extremely difficult, so the three decide to split up and tackle different missions in hopes of clearing them. Faced with a level of pressure and urgency they've never experienced before, the possibility of the show's first-ever failed bingo begins to weigh on their minds. If they fail to complete the bingo, the next area won't be unlocked, and the journey will have to restart from the Tokachi region. As a result, the next travelers, Fuga Onishi and Masato Takemura, can only watch anxiously to see what happens. Meanwhile, back in the studio, a discussion about "the person they'd most like to meet right now" reveals an unexpected side of Totsugi.

Fresh off Yugo Kochi's dome tour stop in Sapporo with SixTONES, he's whisked away for a location shoot in the Tokachi region! Supporting a slightly reluctant Kochi on this journey are Rinne Sugeta and Takeyuki Mayumi. For the first time in the show's history, this is a day trip, meaning the trio must complete a bingo within a limited amount of time. As usual, they're dropped off in the middle of nowhere and immediately begin hitchhiking. This time, however, Kochi shows a more dependable side after learning hitchhiking techniques from Kono during the previous trip. Meanwhile, although his juniors, Rinne and Takeyuki, enthusiastically throw themselves into the challenge, a simple oversight causes them to make a series of mistakes, earning them a scolding from Kochi. This time, the trio also has access to buses and trains in addition to hitchhiking. With time running short, they'll need to make full use of both their wits and stamina as they race to complete their bingo card.

But will they be able to secure a campsite without a reservation? Having gone the entire morning without eating, the trio reaches their limit from hunger. However, with very little money left, they are forced to make an ultimate choice: spend what they have on heating equipment or eat a proper meal at a restaurant right in front of them. Will they be able to enjoy a comfortable night camping? Then, after overcoming one challenge after another and welcoming a new morning, Waku and Tatsuru surprise Kochi with an unexpected proposal before they begin working on their cheese-making mission. The Wild Trip then moves into the Kushiro area. Joining the journey are Waku Motoki and Tatsuru Matsuo. However, the starting point that greets them is nothing short of "a scene of despair." On top of that, the mission devised by Shigeyuki Totsugi is designed to give them an experience completely different from what they faced in Nemuro. Experiencing the warmth and kindness of the local people, Kochi and the Junior members continue working toward clearing their missions. Two missions remain on the Oita Bingo card. Kochi, Chiino, and Takemura set their sights on Fukashima and Prefectural Route 635, first attempting to make their way to Fukashima island. They discover that the ferry to Fukashima runs only three times a day, and if they miss the departure four hours later, completing the bingo will become impossible. To make matters worse, the ferry departs from Kamae Port, about 60 kilometers from their current location, and finding a car heading there is no easy task. Nevertheless, Yugo's intuition and persistence work a miracle, and the trio somehow manages to reach Kamae Port in time. Their other remaining mission is to drive along Prefectural Route 635. Once they enter the designated area, they are allowed to rent a car and complete the mission themselves. Yugo gets behind the wheel for the first time in the show's history, but with filming time quickly running out, even a single wrong turn could make clearing the mission impossible.

    9. Episode 9

At last, Kochi, Chiino and Takemura make it into Oita Prefecture. It's already 3:00 pm but they still haven't completed a single mission. For the time being, they begin hitchhiking toward a cave sauna whose location they already know. The three somehow manage to arrive before closing time. Kochi suddenly comes back to his senses and realizes they still haven't figured out where they're staying that night. Since they're in a remote area, they decide it's best to travel to a somewhat larger town before the end of the day so they'll be in a better position for the next day's activities. By the time they arrive, night has already fallen, and they can't find any accommodations. Drawing on what they learned in Kumamoto, they switch to a new plan: asking someone if they can stay in their yard. But the station in front of them is unmanned, and there are hardly any people on the streets. The three steel themselves for the possibility of walking through the night.

    8. Episode 8

Only one square remains on the Kumamoto Bingo card. With about three hours left until filming ends, Kochi, Mayumi, and Takemura decide to head back toward Kumamoto Airport while continuing their search for Kumamon. Fortunately, they meet someone willing to give them a ride toward the airport. Before setting off, however, they stop for a meal where Mayumi and Takemura reveal a surprise mission for Kochi. After pushing ahead with the mission until the very last moment before time runs out, the three place a save spot at a certain location, passing the baton to the final leg of the journey. On the last day, Kochi is joined by Chiino and Takemura, who was unable to make much of an impact during the previous Kumamoto leg. They must press on quickly to complete all seven prefectures of Kyushu, but once again they find themselves struggling with the new rule.

  4. Wild Tripper!! S2 E7 still E7

    7. Episode 7

The Kumamoto mission has suffered a massive blow to its budget because of the Chateaubriand incident. With sunset approaching, the group urgently needs to find somewhere to stay for the night, but the roadside station in Minamiaso has already closed and hardly anyone is around. Feeling dejected, Mayumi runs around the surrounding area alone, searching for someone willing to let them stay the night. Meanwhile, Kochi and Takemura also approach everyone they can find at the roadside station, but they too fail to find anyone willing to help and begin to lose hope. Then, a miracle happens for the desperately searching Mayumi. The next morning, the trio sets their sights on completing the Kumamoto Bingo by checking off "100 Kumamon statues" and the Okoshiki Coast at low tide. Once again, they make progress with the help of kind locals, but behind the scenes, Mayumi and Takemura have been quietly carrying out a certain plan.

    6. Episode 6

Seventeen days after the previous shoot... Yugo Kochi heads to the save point with Takeyuki Mayumi and Masato Takemura. When Mayumi and Takemura are told where they have arrived, they realize for the first time that the Miyazaki Bingo mission still hasn't been cleared. To conquer all seven prefectures of Kyushu within this season they need to clear Miyazaki as quickly as possible during this shoot and move into the Kumamoto area. Their first destination is Manai Falls, the final remaining mission in Miyazaki. As usual, they begin hitchhiking but for the first time since the show began, they experience an unprecedented encounter and Kochi can't hide his delight. Having finally entered the Kumamoto area, the three search for a mission at a roadside station in Minamiaso. However an action taken by Mayumi unexpectedly triggers a major incident...

    5. Episode 5

The Mission in Miyazaki enters its decisive second day! The team has learned that they need to head for Shiiba Village, one of Japan's three great secluded regions, but the journey there is unimaginably long. On a freezing morning below 0°C, Yugo Kochi, Rinne Sugata and Tatsuru Matsuo fire themselves up and begin hitchhiking. Just getting to Hyuga City, the gateway to Shiiba Village, requires traveling over 100 km. When they stop at a roadside station along the way locals tell them "You'll need a great deal of determination to make it to Shiiba Village." That comment casts a shadow over their hopes of completing the mission before the day is over. Even so, with the help of the people they meet along the way, they gradually get closer to the location. However, they are suddenly confronted by an incredibly steep mountain road, leaving all three of them stunned!

    4. Episode 4

To gather information about Miyazaki Prefecture, Yugo Kochi, Rinne Sugeta and Tatsuru Matsuo made their way to a roadside station. They struggled to find a driver willing to help them continue their journey, but then, all of a sudden, Kochi's hitchhiking sensor kicked in. Thanks to a kind couple, they secured a ride to their first mission: Ebino Plateau. Just as the three were about to begin visiting the area's crater lakes, they discovered that completing the route would take more than two hours. On top of that, an unexpected setback awaited them, pushing their physical stamina to its limits. While searching for a place to spend the night, Kochi proposed pitching their tent somewhere other than a campsite. Supported by the kindness of the people of Miyazaki, he, Rinne, and Tatsuru prepared a local specialty together. After spending a truly wild night unlike any they had experienced before, the three rested up to prepare themselves for the grueling mission awaiting them the next day.

  8. Wild Tripper!! S2 E3 still E3

    3. Episode 3

Yugo Kochi, Waku Motoki, and Fuga Onishi headed for their final mission: reaching the Kagoshima-Miyazaki prefectural border. After asking around, they were able to identify the location of a border marker. However, since it was still a considerable distance away, they made their way toward Miyazaki by hitchhiking, transferring between several different cars along the way. They finally arrived at the area where the border marker was supposed to be but there was no sign of it. Unsure whether they were even in the right place, the three continued walking along the mountain road. Then, just as filming for the first shoot came to an end, Season 2's new rule came into effect. A "Save Point" flag was placed at the location where filming ended, and the next shoot would resume from that exact spot. Nine days later, the next travelers, Rinne Sugeta and Tatsuru Matsuo, gathered at the Save Point.

    2. Episode 2

After an incredible stroke of luck allows Yugo Kochi, Waku Motoki, and Fuga Onishi to unexpectedly clear a mission, the trio's spirits are high despite it already being 5:00 p.m. They enthusiastically set their sights on the next challenge: finding "a daikon radish with a diameter of at least 30 centimeters." They stop at a roadside station in Tarumizu to gather information and discover a certain daikon. Kochi gets excited, thinking they've completed their second mission, only to realize he's made a major misunderstanding. Once again, a heavy silence settles over the group. However, after learning that the daikon they're looking for can definitely be found on Sakurajima, Kochi hitchhikes to the island. At a certain location on Sakurajima after nightfall, the trio experiences yet another miraculous encounter. And while Wild Tripper!! is known for its grueling overnight stays, this time the night takes an unexpected turn...

  10. Wild Tripper!! S2 E1 still E1

    1. Episode 1

Wild Tripper!! Season 2 begins in the southernmost town of Kagoshima Prefecture! When Yugo Kochi, Waku Motoki, and Fuga Onishi remove their blindfolds, they are greeted by a breathtaking view of the ocean. While making their way along a road with hardly anyone around, they happen to meet a local resident who offers to drive them to the mission location. But just as they're about to get into the car, a shocking fact comes to light. How will Kochi and the others make their way from the southernmost town? With little to no familiarity with Kagoshima Prefecture, the trio first has to get a grasp of the region's geography. However, because the missions are scattered all across the prefecture, they struggle to figure out where to begin and eventually find themselves completely stuck.
