Kang Jae starts to feel left out, seeing Raphael next to Woo Ri all the time. Woo Ri senses this and tries to make it up to him by going on a camping trip with him. But later, she becomes devasted after she learns Kang Jae had lied about not knowing of Ma Ri's affair and how he had covered for her so that it wouldn't alter Woo Ri's mind about giving them the baby once it was born, putting their relationship in turmoil.

Seoung Il tells Woo Ri that he is her father. Woo Ri gets shocked by the news and becomes angry at Eun Ran for lying to her. She packs her things and leaves the house. She runs to stop him from reading it, but it's too late.

Woo Ri makes up her mind and decides to have Raphael's baby. She tells him about it amidst a murder that happens in the hospital that pleasantly shocks him. However, Woo Ri starts to doubt Raphael after seeing him with other women and reading online articles about him being a playboy. She starts to follow him around to confirm her suspicions.
