The Campsite

We go with the campers at this year’s dog show in Rønne in the final episode of “Camping Square”. Jens Jakob comes on overtime when he has to buy snacks for the dogs, Mette gets a nice visit from Canada, and I wonder if the season ends with a bang.

“Dog Week” is approaching, and this means that Henrik must prepare the space for no less than 600 dogs. But before he can, he has just a large group of students from Zealand, he has to take good care of.

The busyness encroaches on the campsite, and Henrik and Mette have to get assistance from above. And then we have to meet the regular Carsten, who has lived on the square for no less than 20 years, and every Friday herring goes to the other settlers.

It's early in the season and rainy at the campsite, but one night two women show up to seek shelter. Camping owner Henrik is swapping himself for a stage show that the campsite will not soon forget. On the same stage, we also have to meet a family that shares a little more than flesh and blood.

The season is pouring, and the seats' employees must literally run extra fast. They have signed up for Etape Bornholm, where internal bets and disputes must be fought. The tasks are many in the busiest week of the season, where a classic triangular drama occurs when Mette's son, Jens Jakob, has brought his new girlfriend to Bornholm. It does not fall into good soil with his best friend, Asbjørn, who for more than six years has slept with Jens Jakob when they work over the summer every year at the campsite. For more than two years, Henrik has struggled to get his and Mette's favorite artist, Sophie Zelmani, to Bornholm, and finally the dream comes true. At the same time, the landlord Carsten is getting ready for his last season after more than 20 years in the square.
