Ryūbi, with the help of Kan'u and her group, has quelled the rebellion, but there is more to Ryūbi that meets Kan'u eyes. With his chance to make his claim to fame, Ryūbi abandons Touka and decides to focus on the fighting the rebels and tries to encourage Aisha to join him...

While Rinrin and Shuri are still sleeping at their camp, Kan'u wakes up and immediately finds herself in the middle of a battle between bandits and militias. They decide to team up with Ryūbi's army to defeat the bandits; and with Rinrin fighting skills, Shuri's strategies and Kan'u strength they will help Ryūbi get back in the good graces of his lord.

The kingdom of Wu under Queen Sonsaku has been rapidly expanding through warfare. However her younger sister has been warning her that the battles will exhaust her people and supplies. And subsequently on that day, they all learn of a pending assassination plot from an unknown stranger...

Bunshu and Ganryo find a treasure map in the warehouse and go searching for the treasure with Ensho. At that time, Soso, Kakoton, and Juniku were taking an occasional breather when they began to head toward an onsen. Kanu unexpectedly would get a whiff of the sulfur from the onsen so she headed that way. However, it didn't seem like the water from that onsen was flowing.

At the tea house near the mountain's ridge, a young lady is entangled with a bad guy when Kanu enters to help. During the course of events, Kanu ends up paying this lady's check. Her name was Sonshoko and she promised to repay her so she declared to be the servant of Kanu and her friends.

Komei and three other people continued the journey with Kanu. Once, an argument suddenly arose when there was a fork in the road and everyone went down their own path. Chohi ended up on her own when she came across a town. With low traveling expenses, she lacked the money for food. Having a plan, she began to wander about the town since she knew about a big celebration that was going to occur.

Kanu is walking in the mountains when she gets lost in the thick fog with Choun. Futhermore, Kanu slips on the cliff and ends up spraining her ankle. As they are waiting for the fog to clear up, Chohi finds a small cottage. It turns out it's at the bottom of the mountain where there is an elementary school where Suikyo-sensei teaches. The cottage is the home of the student, Komei.

The group meets Toutaku, the Governess of Zhao, and she informs everyone that she came to investigate a rumor that a monster has been threatening a village. While they implore the help of strategist Ka Ku, Kan'u and friends decide to take on the 'monster' despite being a bit weary and scared about facing it.

After subduing the rebel armies, Sōsō and her troops return to Shao. Upon her return she sees Chōhi and Bachō. Bachō, however, scream's out Sōsō's name and charges at her; but for what reason?

With their new found friend, Kan'u and friends decide to work at a restaurant in order to cover their traveling expenses. However, Chōhi was no good at it, and decided earn money another way where she meets Bachō.

Kan'u and Chōhi are on their journey together, and their first stop happens when, Kōsonsan, a local feudal lord and Chōun ask the two to help them find a hidden base belonging to bandits so they can be eliminated. However upon finding the bandits, Kan'u and Chōhi fight them off, taking away Chōun's glory. However, they offer her an alternative...

During a time of peace, Kan'u travels throughtout the land training her skills; but on an auspicious day she enters a village to encounter Chōhi, a small bandit girl from the mountains. On that day, Chōhi is being sought out by the head of the village for the damages she has done to the village. However, Kan'u decides to take on Chōhi and her rag-tag group of friends...

As the bandits advance on the city, Aisha and Rinrin do everything they can to hold down the city gates and protect the villagers. Will the truth about Ryubi finally be revealed?

Aisha, Rinrin and Shuri become involved in a war between bandits and a militia, siding with the militia. During the resulting chaos, Bacho has a near-death experience.

As the Queen expands her territory by way of war, an attempt is made on her life. With no one to blame, she holds Aisha as the prime suspect.

When Relha's group discover a treasure map they find themselves being pursued by an unknown force. When the force they think is following them turns out different from what they imagined, it's secrets are then revealed.

Enjutsu desires to have a villa built in the place where a haunted shrine stands. She tasks the girls to destroy the monster that lurks within the shrine in exchange for Ryubi's family sword.

Chinkyu, loyal companion and strategist to Ryofu, reveals her life story to our heroines. New friendships are formed and Rin Rin parts with her special dog charm.

The Three Cho Sisters learn to use the manipulative magical powers of the Crucial Keys to win over the crowd. Soso holds a gourmet food tasting session and tests the culinary prowess of a local chef named Ten’i.

While on their merry travels, our heroines encounter Kakuka and Teiiku, two aspiring strategists who seek employment under Lord Soso.

The Three Cho Sisters meet a traveling magician and receive a mysterious book that amplifies their magical powers as well as their traveling act.

Ryuubi and her party come Kousonsan's city. Kousonsan welcomes them and is surprised that Ryuubi comes with them. A game of wits, strength and technique ensues with the ornate sword as the prize.

Ryubi is cornered by the trio bandits who have perverse thoughts about her. Kan-u's group arrives just in time and with one swing, Kan-u sends the trio away saving Ryubi from the bandits.

With Koumei's strategism and the five strong warriors Kan'u, Chouhi, Chouun, Bachou and Kouchuu's power, the bandits do not stand a chance when they are confronted in battle.

Toutaku and Kaku escape Rakuyou with the help of Kayuu and Shuutai. The allied forces learn of the plan's success from Shuutai's letter, and advance from Shisui Pass to Korou Pass. Just as Toutaku surrenders, and is about to throw open the gates, Chouryou stands alone before the allied army, challenging any of them to duel her.

Defeat the evil Toutaku! Enshou sends a call to the other lords, and in response Sousou, Sonsaku, the Touka Village Army, and one other person answer the call. The allied forces advance on the capitol of Rakuyou where Toutaku awaits, but are stopped by Ryofu at Shisui Gate. As they hold a strategy conference, Ryofu's strategist Chinkyuu comes to them alone...

After their long journey, Ryuubi's party at last returns to the village. Chouhi sees Kan'u again for the first time in ages, and jumps into her chest overjoyed. With the Nanban Elephant's Belly Button Lint, Koutou pill, and the persistence herb all gathered, they, they have everything they need to stop Kashin from turning into a cat. What will happen?

While taking her afternoon nap, the king of Nanban, Moukaku, bites Payapaya's tail. When Payapaya complains, she gets angry and chases him away. Meanwhile, Ryuubi's party has come to the steamy jungles of Nanban. They're taking a bath to deal with the heat when a mysterious animal approaches...

With the ingredients collected, the girls return back home to have the doctor make the medicine that will reverse the effects of the Nyan poison that was given to Kashin-san.

Kogai-dono pretends to over indulge in a rare alcohol in order to trick Shuyu into getting trapped in the store room with Saku-dono to force them to get along.

Ryuubi's party heads for Nanban. As they travel the twisty mountain paths, they encounter a series of strange accidents. Meanwhile, Gien sense something dangerous around them. Ryuubi's leg is injured during a rock fall, and the party is forced to spend the night at a mountain cabin, but...

As Kan'u heads for Koutou, she stops at a town ruled by Enjutsu. She walks through the town, looking for presents for the others, when she runs into Son Shoukou. She lectures her on running away from home again, but Son Shoukou says she's here on an important mission. But...

Ryuubi's group is eating dumplings on their way to Nanban. On the way, they hear rumors of Toutaku from a merchant, and are shocked at how evil she's seemingly become. Then, a boyish-looking girl name Gien appears from the tears and jumps at them. With her dango ruined, Batai challenges Gien to a duel...

Son family bodyguard Ryomo is given the task of guarding Sonken. As she watches Sonken study every night, Ryomo takes an interest in learning, and begins to study with her. Then one day, Sonsaku invites a band of traveling performers to the palace...
